xetlive: I thought I had a heart attack 2 years ago and I went straight to the hospital... They took my blood and checked for some chemical that is visible for, i think, 24 hours, IF you had a heart attack. They said I had some type of weird electrical malfunction that might never happen again. Then they billed me $4500. Then I had the heart attack :D
SauronsEye: The test came from the technique of killing the patient for a while, so the excess heart muscle dies and this makes your heart work better.
It would be interesting to have heard the conversation when the new ("kill em, to make 'em better") technique was first suggested, as it doesn't seem the logical thing to do.
